Available Engineering Learnership Disciplines

Exxaro Leeuwpan Coal is offering learnerships in the following engineering fields:

• Electrical
• Plater / Welder (Boilermaker)
• Fitting and Machinery

A total of three learnership positions are available for the 2026 intake.

Job Key Performance Areas

Learners selected for the programme will be required to:

• Deliver personal performance in line with the approved training programme
• Comply with all company rules, regulations, and safety standards
• Actively participate in both theoretical and practical learning components
• Demonstrate commitment, discipline, and professional conduct in the workplace

Conditions of Appointment

Applicants must be willing and able to successfully undergo the following:

• A valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage

• Grade 12 / Standard 10
• An E symbol, or
• A minimum of 40% pass in English and Mathematics
