Key Duties of a Client Service Officer

Client Service Officers serve as the first point of contact between the public and the Department of Employment and Labour.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Providing screening services to clients
  • Processing applications for UIF benefits
  • Registering payment continuation forms
  • Offering administrative support within the labour centre
  • Assisting employers and employees with labour-related queries

These roles require strong customer service skills and the ability to work with sensitive personal information.
