Requirements
  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Knowledge of filing systems and document handling
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation, including:
    • National Archives and Records Service Act (Act 43 of 1996)
    • Postal Services Act (Act 124 of 1998)
    • Electronic Communications Act (Act 36 of 2005)
    • Public Service Act (1994) and Regulations (2016)
  • Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with office equipment and technology
Duties
  • Manage opening and closing of files
  • Issue and track files across departments
  • Maintain registers for incoming and outgoing documents
  • Handle courier services and internal distribution
  • Sort, stamp, and dispatch mail
  • Act as liaison with courier service providers
  • Maintain accurate record-keeping systems
