West Coast TVET College AGRISETA Millwright Apprenticeship 2026 Intake

The West Coast TVET College Millwright Apprenticeship Training Programme 2026, funded by AGRISETA, is now open for applications. This is one of the most accessible artisan training opportunities in South Africa, especially for youth who do not have Matric.

Based at the Vredendal Campus, this programme offers structured technical training, workplace experience, and a monthly stipend to support learners during their studies.


About the Millwright Apprenticeship Programme

This apprenticeship is designed to train learners into qualified millwright artisans, a highly skilled role in the engineering and maintenance sector.

The programme combines:

  • Theoretical technical training
  • Practical workplace experience
  • Industry-based skills development
  • Structured apprenticeship learning

It is ideal for learners who want a hands-on technical career instead of academic-only study.


Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the West Coast TVET College Millwright Apprenticeship, applicants must have:

Academic Requirement:

  • Minimum Grade 9 or higher

Age Requirement:

  • 18 to 35 years

Required Documents:

  • Updated CV
  • Certified ID copy
  • Certified proof of address
  • Certified highest qualification

Important Rule:

All certified documents must be less than 3 months old


Monthly Stipend Support

Successful learners will receive a monthly stipend of R3 500, which can help cover:

Only 15 learners will be selected, making this a highly competitive opportunity.

  • Start Date: 01 June 2026

Selected candidates must be available full-time from the start date.
