ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: VETTING REF NO: GPW 22/27 (X2 POSTS)

SALARY: R477 090 per annum (Level 10)
CENTRE: Pretoria

REQUIREMENTS: A three-year National Diploma, NQF degree 6 in Security Risk Management or related NQF stage 6 qualification. A vetting Certificate (provided by means of SSA) is an added advantage. Appropriate trip of at least 5 -8 years as a Vetting Field Worker/officer. A legitimate driver’s license. Experience in Security Management consists of vetting and screening of the personnel and service
providers. The profitable candidate is anticipated to work lengthy hours and travel as and when required.

DUTIES: Assist with the implementation of protection vetting and screening of the employees and carrier carriers in the organsation: Ensure personnel are vetted and re-vetted at all cloth times. Ensure that pre-employment screening of viable candidates is carried out and reports are submitted to the Human
Resources. Assist with safety screening of the provider vendors appointed or due to be appointed by using the organization, and collaborate with SCM.Facilitate the implementation of a safety vetting database as prescribed by State Security Agency (SSA), and maintain it up to date at all fabric times.
Compile and post reviews and vetting archives to management. Assist will the management of vetting archives and submissions to State Security Agency (SSA).Facilitate and behavior vetting fieldwork investigations in the organization:Facilitate vetting requests, verify affidavits and completeness on
documentation, and examine the threat profile of every request. Facilitate and schedule interviews with applicable references, as per man or woman vetting needs. Conduct proper evaluation and exceptional tests on applicable statistics supplied by way of business units. Collect all relevant vetting records associated to the security consciousness of personnel (existing and new). Build and maintain
relationships with more than a few stakeholders (Internal and External). Participate in the
development of policies, guidelines, norms, and standards, Undertake research on the contemporary vetting-related tendencies and policies. Liaise oftentimes with SSA and different vital stakeholders for advice, help and to obtain information. Establish and promote relationships with exterior stakeholders,
including, deposit data providers, to get entry to information. Ensure proper control and administration of property and resources.
