Please note: Its important to note that Sassa grant payment department does not pay grants on public holidays or weekends. This essentially means that if the second day of the month is on a weekend or public holiday, the grant will be paid on the next weekday, as per the payment schedule.

Grant beneficiaries who require financial assistance can collect their Sassa grants at several different payment points. These payment points include ATMs and retail stores such as Pick n Pay, Checkers, Shoprite and Boxer
