We need you to be flexible, agile , resilient, and open to take on any challenges whilst learning . During this time, you will get an opportunity to really showcase your skills!<\/p>\n<p>You will be working with our best leaders and receive on going coaching and mentoring ! The programme is designed to provide Agricultural graduates an intensive focused training program, where they will gain insight into every aspect of agricultural development within the South African Breweries environment.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>The\u00a0<\/strong><strong>programme<\/strong><strong>\u00a0will\u00a0<\/strong><strong>include practical exposure to the following<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic understanding of the malting and brewing process<\/li>\n<li>Operation of farm equipment<\/li>\n<li>Safety in the workplace<\/li>\n<li>Introduction to barley breeding and barley seed chain<\/li>\n<li>Research and development methodology and practical execution of field trials<\/li>\n<li>Input cost budgets and tracking. Marketing environment and marketing of barley<\/li>\n<li>Production practices of raw materials for the use in brewing (Barley, maize, sorghum and cassava)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Official certification:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>BASOS (Fertilizer recommendations)<\/li>\n<li>AVCASA (Chemical recommendations)<\/li>\n<li>Grading courses (Barley and maize)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Profile:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed qualification or final year graduate (BTech in Agriculture or BAgric or BSc Agric or BSc Agric Hon or MSc Agric)<\/li>\n<li>Must major in Agronomy\/Plant production\/Crop Production and Soil Science<\/li>\n<li>No more than 3 years formal work experience post achieving your qualification<em>(Internship, vacation work, short duration contracts and part-time work experiences is not applicable)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ability to quickly adapt to new systems<\/li>\n<li>A valid drivers\u2019 licence would be an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Additional information:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Willing to\u00a0<strong>relocate to Kimberley for a 12 month period<\/strong>\u00a0commencing January 2023.<\/li>\n<li>No health risk or allergy to dust and excessive pollen<\/li>\n<li>Company support will be provided on discretion where relocation is required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Kimberly, Northern Cape<\/p>\n<h4><strong><span id=\"how-to-apply\">How to Apply<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wd1.myworkdaysite.com\/en-US\/recruiting\/abinbev\/SAB\/job\/South-Africa-Default-Location\/Agriculture-Internship_30028460\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Apply here Online for SAB Internships 2022\/2023<\/a><\/p>\n<p id=\"block-b8b9e074-3181-4fe8-ac52-ce99f20a3712\">Closing Date: 30 September 2022<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SAB invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for Agriculture Graduate \/ Internship Programme 2022 \/ 2023.
