The programme has created more than one million work opportunities for unemployed youth in South Africa during its previous phases.<\/p>\n<p>Phase 6 of the BEEI programme will target between the ages of 18 and 34, turning 35 by the end of March 2026, to assist and support teaching and learning. The fifth phase of the programme will create at least 200,000 job opportunities for unemployed youth in South Africa.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Stipend\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>In Phase 6, teaching assistants will receive a monthly stipend of R4,000.00 for six months, along with R30 for data. This programme targets youth aged 18-34, specifically those who will not turn 35 before the end of March 2026.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Minimum requirements\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>EA \u2013 EDUCATION ASSISTANTS<\/strong>\u00a0(must have matric)\u00a0 \u2013 To assist with teaching &amp; learning in classrooms.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Curriculum Assistants<\/strong>:\u00a0 You must have at least achieved 40% (level 3 pass) in the subject you will be supporting in.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reading Champion:<\/strong>\u00a0 You should have passed the Language of Learning and Teaching (LoLT) of the school at matric level and demonstrate a passion for reading.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Laboratory Assistants:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0You should have passed physical Science at matric level and demonstrate a passion for science.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Workshop Assistants:<\/strong>\u00a0 You should have a matriculation certificate with engineering subjects.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Psychosocial Support\/Counselling \u2013 Child &amp; Youth Care Worker (CYCW):<\/strong>\u00a0 You should have passed matric and demonstrate a passion for providing care and support.<\/li>\n<li><strong>E-Cadre \/ ICT Assistants:<\/strong>\u00a0 You should have passed IT as a subject in matric OR have a qualification or a certificate course in IT<\/li>\n<li><strong>GSA \u2013 GENERAL SCHOOL ASSISTANTS (matric NOT required<\/strong>) \u2013 To help with infrastructure maintenance and cultural activities.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Infrastructure Maintenance (Handyman):<\/strong>\u00a0 You should have a passion for infrastructure maintenance related jobs and maintenance (no matric requirement).-Sports and Enrichment Assistants (SEA):\u00a0 You must show interest in sports, arts and culture (no matric requirement).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0South Africa<\/p>\n<h4><strong>How to apply for Teachers Assistant Phase 6<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sayouth.mobi\/Join\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Apply here online for Teachers Assistant Phase 6 -SA Youth<\/a><\/p>\n<h4><strong>How To Apply for School Assistant Jobs Using SAYouth &#8211; SA Youth Teaching Assistant<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/sayouth.mobi\/Home\/Index\/EN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Go to the SAYouth website\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Register an account<\/li>\n<li>Log in with your details<\/li>\n<li>In the search bar, you should type &#8216;school assistant&#8217; or search for the name of the school closest to you<\/li>\n<li>A list of jobs available in your area will come up which will also include the opportunity cards for the schools that are closest to you.
