About the Role

The ATM Assistant and Consultant role is designed to support branch operations by welcoming clients, managing queues efficiently, and assisting customers with ATM and self-service banking channels. Key Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and provide a positive first impression at the branch
• Manage and coordinate branch queues efficiently
• Assist clients with ATM usage and self-service banking channels
• Support clients with basic transactions on remote or self-service platforms
• Deliver excellent customer service in line with Capitec standards
• Learn and apply service consulting principles within the branch

Skills and Competencies

• Strong communication skills
• Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
• Interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Ability to engage confidently with people
• Willingness to learn and grow within the banking environment

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate or Vocational)
• Basic numeracy and calculation skills
• Understanding of customer service principles
• Knowledge of bank branch environments (advantageous)
• Knowledge of Capitec Bank products and processes (advantageous)
• Ambitious, motivated, and eager to develop a career in banking
