About the DRDGOLD Engineering Learnership Programme

The Engineering Learnership Programme is designed to provide unemployed youth with practical skills development and technical training in engineering-related fields. This programme is specifically aimed at residents of the Merafong Community who are interested in pursuing careers in engineering and skilled trades.

Fitting and Mechanic

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Educational Requirements

Candidates must have Grade 12 results with at least 40% or higher in:

  • Pure Mathematics
  • Physical Science
  • English

Alternative Qualifications

Applicants with any of the following may also apply:

  • NCV Level 4 qualification
  • Fully completed N2 Certificate or higher in an engineering discipline
