Through partnerships with the Culture, Arts, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Sector Education and Training Authority (CATHSSETA), Joburg City Theatres provides unemployed youth with recognised skills development programmes that improve employability and workplace readiness.

The Joburg City Theatres Hospitality Learnership is designed to equip unemployed youth with both theoretical knowledge and practical workplace experience within the hospitality sector.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for the programme, applicants must:

• Be a South African citizen.
• Be between 18 and 35 years of age.
• Be unemployed.
• Reside within the City of Johannesburg.
• Have a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
• Have English as a subject in Grade 12.
• Be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
