SASSA TVET Learnerships 2026

The South African Social Security Agency has officially opened applications for its 2026 Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme for TVET College learners . This opportunity is aimed at students who have completed their N6 theoretical studies and require practical workplace experience to complete their National Diploma qualifications.

About the SASSA WIL Programme

The South African Social Security Agency Work Integrated Learning Programme provides practical workplace exposure for TVET College learners in a professional government environment.

Selected learners will be placed at the SASSA Regional Office in Kimberley, where they will gain valuable hands-on experience in administration, customer service, communications, risk management, and public sector operations.

This programme is ideal for learners who need workplace training to complete their National Diploma requirements.

Fraud and Risk Management (2 Posts)

Required Qualification

Applicants must have an N6 National Certificate or Statement of Results in:

  • Risk Management
  • Internal Audit
  • Policing

Communications and Marketing (2 Posts)

Reference Number: SAS NC26/05/05

Required Qualification

Applicants must have an N6 National Certificate or Statement of Results in:

  • Public Relations
  • Media Studies

Customer Care (1 Post)

Reference Number: SAS NC26/05/06

Required Qualification

Applicants must have an N6 National Certificate or Statement of Results in:

  • Public Management
  • Public Administration
